You've tried the rest, now hire the best! I was given his info by a neighbor who needed him in the past. Elliot will help take the stress out of finding the right AC that fits both your needs and your budget. I had four contractors, not including Elliot, scheduled to give me an estimate. Of those 4, one was a no show and they were a prominent contractor in the area. The others were all over the place with pricing and they all wanted to reuse my original 30+ year old ductwork. Only Red Vine suggested that I replace everything. Yeah, yeah, I know what your thinking--Why replace it all? Don't ask me people ASK ELLIOT! he explained everything in great detail: why each component needed replacing (after a thorough inspection as part of his service FOR FREE!), what he recommended and why, and was always ready with an answer for every single question that I had. Not just any old run of the mill answers either! He broke everything down with confidence, respect, and complete patience. His price was the higher of them all, but I can guarantee none of them will match his service! After picking him, we spent 2-3 weeks talking back and forth about his recommendations on the equipment that I should install and why. He made sure to keep a slot open for me in his schedule to get me fixed up ASAP. Again, nothing but patience as we talked back and forth and I asked tons of questions about EVERYTHING! The big day! He and his partner show up raring to go! On three triple digit temperature days, they toughed it out in the attic! Day 1--all the old stuff was out and everything was cleaned up. He made sure to show me my worn out dirty ducts, my dangerous heater with many rust holes, and how they were staged up for day 2 before he left for the day. Day 2--They had again worked hard: all ductwork assembled and staged for install, the furnace and all the equipment in place, and he told me his plans for day 3. Day 3--they spent the day connecting ductwork and getting all the equipment connected. This day ran long, close to 12 hours. After trying their hardest to have me running by day three, they had to come back just one more time. The final day....They were here bright and early and before 11:00am, we were cooling! before they left, they walked through and cleaned up leaving no trash behind. A few days go by and the new thermostat was reading crazy, the house felt humid, and I was confused. I called Elliot and he was there the next day. He meticulously checked everything, the ducts, the furnace, the fans, everything. Seeing nothing obvious, he said he had to call the manufacturer. A few days later he was back, made some adjustments and said he would check back in a day or two to give it all time to work. Two days go by and he checks in. Things had improved but still felt a little off. He came back with a ton of data for the system from the manufacturer. He explained how new my equipment was and that the adjustments he was about to make would solve it for good. When he came this time, I noticed a little paper with my information on it. I asked about it and he explained. He keeps a log of each of his customers so, when they have issues, he has a record of everything he has done so he knows where to start. No shooting from the hip with Elliot. He installed my stuff at the end of July and he checked up on me today--a week deep in September! This is the guy--he takes a personal touch with each of his customers, he takes pride in his work, he works hard to make you happy. Believe me, If you Pick Red Vine, you WILL be happy. By the way, ALL of his return visits to adjust my equipment were at the END of his day. After working hard all day on another job, he then came to my house and gave me the same service that he gave me on day one. He never rushed--not once. He even fixed another issue I had AT NO CHARGE!!! Thanks Elliot, you and Terrell did a great job. I tripped over a penguin wearing a parka in my living room this morning on my way to get a cup of coffee! Best wishes on success. Thank you Elliot and Terrell for the exceptional work!
